New Look, Same Diego

When my former SDSU professor, Diego Robles, reached out for a business card refresh, I saw it as an opportunity to craft something clean, memorable, and uniquely his. With no existing brand system to pull from, I found inspiration in the circular photo on his website’s homepage—reimagining it as the letter “D” in his name. We leaned into a minimalist black-and-white palette to create a timeless, professional feel that speaks to both his academic background and creative presence. The result: a rebrand that feels fresh but still undeniably Diego.

Where it started. A D-shaped portrait on Diego's homepage sparked the whole look.
